zen, onsen, shinkansen.
We spent two weeks in Japan and loved every moment of it. The country blends deep history with modern life. Although it sometimes felt like parts of it haven’t changed in 30 years, everything still worked perfectly, like when the Shinkansen still runs with clockwork precision. The food was fantastic (even the strawberry sandwiches have their charm), and the culture of warmth and hospitality was felt everywhere - from people patiently helping us despite language barriers, to the friendly deer of Nara, and even the comfort of cat cafés. Japan made us feel safe and welcomed, and this gallery is a glimpse into the moments that made the trip so memorable.
